The peace gardens are lovely all year and most days visitors are welcome. A year of seasonal pictures can be enjoyed on line at the photo gallery.

Couples are invited to exchange their marriage vows in the peace gardens. I have ministerial authority through the Universal Life Church and welcome couples who want to seal their commitment to each other before God and their love ones with or without a state marriage liscence.

The service can be in the flower garden, among meadow wildflowers, or in a forest glade. Couples are welcome to bring light refreshment for a celebratory picnic after the service.

The peace gardens are in North Idaho, 7 miles east of Bonners Ferry which is 30 miles North of Sandpoint and 75 miles north of Courd d”Alene. It is 30 miles south of the Canadian Border.

From Bonners Ferry, enjoy a 6 ½ mile scenic drive beside the Kootani River and past the eastern end of paradise valley to foot of katka mtn to an over look with panoramic views of the river, 2 valleys, and 3 mountains ranges.

Visit the peace gardens ½ mile from the base, and enjoy the rockery flower garden and peaceful energy. From the foot of Katka Mtn.

The county road loops about 5 miles around Paradise Valley at the base of the Purcell and Selkick Mtn Ranges before returning to the river 3 ½ miles from town.
